Introduction

At DishCode, we strive to ensure a seamless and secure transaction process for all our dining experiences. This policy outlines the terms under which payments are accepted and refunds may be processed.


1. Payment Information

1.1 Accepted Modes of Payment

Customers can complete their booking using the DishCode app or website via a secure payment gateway. We currently accept:

  • Credit Cards

  • Debit Cards

  • UPI (Unified Payments Interface)

  • Net Banking

1.2 Booking Confirmation

To finalize your participation in any dinner experience, full payment must be made at the time of booking. Bookings without payment will not be validated.

1.3 Payment Security Measures

We utilize secure, industry-standard encryption and payment technologies. DishCode does not store your card information or share it with third-party vendors.

1.4 Invoice & Confirmation

A confirmation email and invoice will be sent to the email address used during registration after successful payment. Additionally, the restaurant may issue a receipt at the venue.

1.5 Service Fees & Charges

There are no hidden costs. The amount paid while booking is a service fee for curating your experience and arranging the venue. The cost of food and beverages is paid directly at the restaurant.

1.6 Cash Policy

We do not support cash payments for advance bookings. All reservations must be confirmed digitally via DishCode. Any in-person payments are limited to food and drink costs at the venue.

1.7 Payment Failures

If a transaction fails but your account is debited, the amount will generally be refunded by your bank within 7 business days. If you experience delays, please reach out to your bank.


2. Refund Guidelines

2.1 Cancellations by Users

We do not offer refunds for cancelled bookings. However, you may reschedule your dinner to another available date at no additional cost, provided the change is made at least 24 hours in advance.

2.2 No-Show Policy

Guests who do not attend their scheduled event without prior notice are not eligible for a refund. This includes those arriving more than 60 minutes past the scheduled start time.

2.3 Late Arrival Terms

Arriving over 60 minutes late will be classified as a no-show, and no refund or rescheduling will be offered.

2.4 Cancellations by DishCode

In rare circumstances where an event must be cancelled by DishCode (due to low attendance, venue problems, or unforeseen issues), guests may choose between:

  • A full refund, or

  • A rescheduled booking for another event


3. Bookings & Participation

3.1 Rescheduling Policy

You can reschedule your reservation free of charge up to 24 hours before the event, depending on availability. This can be done through the app under “My Bookings.”

3.2 Confirmation Details

Bookings are considered confirmed only after full payment. You can view your active bookings under the “My Bookings” section of your DishCode account.

3.3 Attendance Etiquette

We encourage all guests to arrive on time. Minor delays are acceptable, but guests who arrive significantly late (over 60 minutes) may be marked as no-shows and denied entry without refund.
